Corfu is one of the most enchanting Greek islands, not only for the beauty of its crystalline sea, but also for the variety of landscapes, between breathtaking natural scenery and towns where you can discover the history of the territory. Thanks to the flights to Corfu available on our website, instantly arriving at your destination will be a breeze. All of the cheap flight offers to Corfu are here on our website! Ready to set off?
Direct flights to Corfu land at Corfu-Giovanni Capodistria airport, located just two kilometres from the largest city centre. The island is quite large, however, you can reach all the destinations using easy driving routes or using the public buses. Renting a scooter is another interesting option.
Corfu is much more than just seaside and beaches, such as the extraordinary historic centre of Corfu Town, elected a World Heritage Site by Unesco. A magical and colourful urban labyrinth characterised by yellow and pink tones, where you will find elegant Venetian-style buildings alternating with public squares with gardens and fountains, fortresses and terraces overlooking the sea. The Church of San Giorgio, the Royal Palace and the Museum of Asian Art are all worth a visit. Other delightful itineraries on the island include the Achilleion Palace (built by the will of Empress Sissi), the magnificent Monastery of Vlachérna, the fortified Acropolis of Angelokastro and the archaeological site of Paleopolis.
The island features beaches that are nothing short of enchanting: the bays in the village of Paleokastritsa, the so-called Canal D'Amour (Channel of Love) in Sidari, the beaches of Gouvia, Dassia and Barbati, suitable for the whole family and quite close to Corfu Town, the wild and pristine bay of Kalami to the north, the beaches of Porto Timoni and Agios Georgios Pagon to the west and Halikounas beach to the south, perfect for surfing and kitesurfing.
There are many restaurants and taverns in the centre of Corfu and its surroundings, where you can eat typical Greek dishes at very reasonable prices. The nightlife is mainly concentrated in the port area and in the towns of Ipsos (where the famous Montecristo nightclub is located) and Dassia (Edem and Prince clubs). The annual events on the island include Orthodox Easter in early May, the procession of St. Spyridon on August 11th and the Feast of Our Lady on August 23rd.
